Jacksonville Jaguars' defensive coordinator Anthony Campanile was one of nine coaches to receive at least one first-place vote for the NFL's Assistant Coach of the Year award.
The annual award went to New England Patriots' offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels, who received 17 first-place votes. Campanile received two first-place votes -- tied for the seventh-most among all assistants league-wide.

Campanile's scheme proved hard to game plan for with the variety of different looks he would throw at opposing offenses. It was a very malleable system that was quick to adjust based on who the opponent was and was very good at maximizing the skill sets that the Jaguars had on their defensive roster.
Campanile had head coaching interviews with three different teams this hiring cycle, but will return to the Jaguars for the 2026 season.
